- Russell- Asst Manager U11 Foxes

The season began with a number of challenges. Following a change in management during the first half of the season, we often found ourselves arriving at matches with barely enough players to field a team. Results were difficult, with several heavy defeats, and confidence inevitably took a knock. For many of the boys, this was their very first season playing football, so there was a significant amount to learn both individually and collectively.

As the season progressed, we welcomed new players into the squad and began to see real improvement. The boys developed their technical ability, gained a better understanding of their positions and responsibilities, and started to play with greater confidence. Most importantly, they began to understand the value of working together as a team.

The transformation was evident by the end of the season. In the Graduation Cup, we faced many of the same teams that had beaten us earlier in the year, but this time the outcome was very different. The boys won all but one of their matches to become outright Cup winners. Their teamwork, determination and positive attitude were clear for all to see. We developed a recognisable style of play built around effort, teamwork and supporting one another, rather than relying on individuals.

We would also like to thank our parents and supporters, whose commitment, encouragement and positivity throughout the season played a huge part in the team's development. Their support on matchdays and at training has been invaluable.

The progress made this season has been remarkable, and the boys should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved. With a strong squad, a fantastic team spirit and a genuine love of the game, we are all excited to see what next season will bring.
