Despite the press, our speedy Poltergeist quickly move unnoticed into a scoring position, and Oliver scored a screamer..0-1
Despite the score line, the Oppo continued to look the better team, and created many chances, which Daniel duly "batted" away..But, somewhat against the run of play, Teddy played Ted B in for our 2nd. 0-2. But, no time to breath as the Oppo kept levitating to our goal, and scored a very nice "ghoul" (which they deserved). 1 - 2.

Now the boys started moving the ball, and battling like demons with Ted B leading the charge. Ghoul 2, 3 (asst Louie L), and 4..1-5.
Now time for a re-charged Stanley to step up to the alter, and slot his first of the day 1-6, followed by a lovely little asst from Coben and a screamer for Stanleys 2nd 1-7. Teddy S, hoping to get on the scoresheet in front of Grandparents, Aunt, and Cousin...Just managed to do that with a lovely cross off Oliver. 1-8. Then as we had decided on 1 MOTM this week (Ted B), up pops Stanley with another screamer to complete his Hat-trick and finish the Thriller of a 2nd half..(earning him a MOTM as well) 1-9.

A game of 2 halves, and shows what we are capable of when motivated. A little shout out to Kayden, whose energy today was great, and how he broadcasts instructions to his team mates from us coaches. Also, some great saves by Daniel, that kept our noses in front. Next Up Sandhurst in the League, and then again in the next round of the Respect Cup..
