On a wet damp morning the Foxes went to Goldsworth park rangers recreation park hoping to repeat the win of our last game as we continue to build team spirit, togetherness and confidence in the team. with a change of formation as we welcome back Nico into side starting at right wingback.

The Goldsworth rangers started brightly sporting their colours of Light blue tops and socks and navy blue shorts and with Alfie in goal for Foxes we was in a masterclass of goalkeeping performance. with GPR making the earlier running and Alfie at his brilliant best keeping the their strikers out making save after save after save with his new Gloves investment starting to pay rewards.

But it was Foxes who took the lead as Teddy picks up the loose ball inside the GPR final third and wins a smart foul and up steps Danny to take who does well to get over the defending wall which is half cleared by their goalkeeper only to be parried out as far the flying Nico who fires in from edge of the box 1 Nil.

As GPR continue to push for an equaliser Issac, Christian, billy and Archie were keep on their toes making countless blocks, tackles and interceptions.

20 minutes in then came a moment to forget as GPR corner came the young referee spots a handball penalty to GPR.
as we wait their striker to take it, Alfie is up to his old tricks as he looks to put the striker off. up steps the striker whatever Alfie did in goal it worked as the striker fires high and wide as he misses the target.

seconds later from restarted goal kick a free flowing fast break down the left with Noah who plays in Danny sprinting his way into box who lets fire a fiercely hot shot that the goalkeeper could only save right into the path of Teddy who calmly finds the bottom corner from a tight angle 2-0 at the half time break.

the Second half was evenly contested and the work rate, behaviour and discipline that was on display from every single players was second to none as the game finished with Foxes triumphing 0-2 winners. :)
